Tsévié celebrates International Women's Rights Day with a mobilization for girls' rights
As part of the “Ado Avance Ensemble” (AAE) project, financed by the European Union, and in celebration of International Women's Rights Day, ATBEF made its mark this Saturday, March 8, 2025, by organizing a dynamic and committed day in Tsévié. The aim? To strengthen access to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services for adolescents and young people, particularly girls, while promoting gender equality.
One of the highlights of the day was the awareness-raising caravan that took to the streets of Tsévié. This initiative, which drew enthusiastic crowds, informed both in-school and out-of-school young people about their SRH rights. In an atmosphere punctuated by inspiring messages and interactive discussions, awareness-raising took on considerable momentum, fostering the awareness essential for equitable access to SRH services.
The day continued at the Maison des Jeunes et de la Femme in Tsévié, where a festive, interactive celebration brought together young people, partners and local players committed to promoting the rights of girls and women. Games, entertainment and discussions created a dynamic and inclusive framework for exchange, offering young people a space to express their ideas and aspirations.
The event not only raised the profile of girls' rights, but also consolidated collective efforts in favor of a more equitable society. ATBEF, with the support of its partners, reaffirms its commitment to accompany young people towards a future where every girl and woman can fully exercise her rights and access quality services.
An inspiring day that marks another step towards equality and empowerment for girls and young women in Togo.
ATBEF, for a better life!
