Young people in Haho trained to become agents of change in sexual health

2025-06-27

From June 23 to 25, 2025, ATBEF organized a capacity-building session in Values and Sexual Health Education (EVSS) at the Ecole Normale de Formation des Professeurs d'Écoles (ENFPE) in Notsè. Fifteen young people, both in and out of school, from the Haho district benefited from this intensive training.

The main objective of this initiative was to equip these young people with solid skills in sexual health, enabling them to become effective community relays. Through interactive modules, they were made aware of issues relating to sexuality, personal values, responsibility and peer communication.

Highly motivated at the end of the training, the young people committed themselves to carrying out awareness-raising actions in their communities, in order to promote healthy and responsible sexual behavior among their peers. Their involvement promises to be an essential lever for circulating reliable information adapted to local realities.

This activity is part of the IPPF funding set up to offset the effects of the sudden end of the ExpandPF project.

ATBEF, for a better life!
