On July 30 and 31, 2025, the Kara Congress Hall hosted the closing workshop of the Ado Avance Ensemble project, implemented since 2022 with the support of the European Union. Around thirty participants from the project’s implementation regions, including the Prefects of Bassar, Dankpen, Oti, and Oti Sud, as well as regional directors and partners, attended this strategic reflection and results-sharing meeting.

The workshop, chaired by the Secretary General of the Kara Governorate, provided an opportunity to disseminate research findings on access to safe abortion, present key achievements of the project, and explore strategies for sustaining its impact.

Over the past three years, the project has strengthened the capacities of community and institutional actors, equipped health facilities to better serve youth, and raised awareness among thousands of adolescents about their sexual and reproductive health and rights.

ADO Avance Ensemble leaves behind a strong legacy for creating a safer and more inclusive environment for young people in Togo.
